Heart Rate Monitoring
Tailor Made takes pride in being one of the few fitness teams in El Paso that offer (free of charge) active heart rate monitoring at every workout. Tracking your heart rate allows your coaching team to not only guage the effectiveness of your workouts, but to track your progress by documenting your changing heart rate over time, in step with various other improvements in your fitness regiment. Heart rate monitoring is a true testament to the level of personalization that Tailor Made clients are owed and provided.
Personal Training
Tailor Made personal trainers commit to you by providing science-based, results-driven health and fitness instruction to El Pasoans. Tailor Made personal trainers are certified by at least one of the following certifying agencies: the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM); all organizations are accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Additionally, we believe so strongly in the science and professional practice of fitness, that nearly all of our personal training staff have been awarded bachelor’s degrees or higher from top-tier universities such as the University of New Mexico (UNM), the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
Health Coaching
Tailor Made health coaches are certified health and fitness professionals that work to provide you with the skills necessary to facilitate healthy lifestyle changes by leveraging physical activity, nutritional coaching, and behavioral modifications. Health coaching works to improve your ability to master functional and everyday tasks. Tailor Made’s medical exercise professionals utilize movement as treatments to guide those suffering from injuries and chronic disease towards a healthier life by designing specialized workout programs that not just help alleviate the symptoms of chronic conditions, but can sometimes help prevent them altogether.
